Joyful Note Foundation grew from a simple belief: familiar music, laughter, and human connection can make a meaningful moment possible.
Why Joyful Note
Joyful Note Foundation is dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and healing through music and compassionate service, rooted in biblical principles.
Founded by musician Ron Brittain, Joyful Note is being shaped around music as a shared human language. Its work is faith-shaped, person-first, and aimed at people too often left on the edges of a room or a community.
We do not perform for people. We make music with people.
What is true today
The IRS issued a determination recognizing Joyful Note Foundation as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3), effective November 18, 2024.
This is a dated federal determination on file. It is not a grant award, a current registry check, or program funding.
The foundation is being built to serve seniors, people who are sick, and people too often forgotten, including those in memory care, hospice, rest homes, and underserved communities.
Joyful Note is building its first programs, public updates, and responsible giving infrastructure with care.
A clear distinction
Joyful Note Foundation is the charitable organization. Music That Remembers is the music-performance approach that centers familiar songs, participation, connection, and joy. Keeping those roles clear helps visitors understand both the nonprofit mission and the way music is shared.
